Lunch at Caffe Macs

Sitting on the edge of the patio at Caffe Macs, I sip on the remainder of my smoothie and enjoy the sunny, cloudless, 75 degree lunch hour. The lawn is manicured perfectly, and watching the various people wander out from their buildings towards food is perfect fun. The volleyball guys have yet to set up their court, and thus with the expanse of grass across the center of campus, it is becoming clear that there will have to be many a game of ultimate frisbee launched out here. As always, the game will start as simple catch amongst a few of us, but I have no doubt once we reach a critical mass a game organization will happen. It's also rather entertaining to scope all the people walking across campus. There are your geeks, both over and under weight. There are also hot women, sandals with socks, ponytails, Sonic Youth shirts, utility belts, suits (only on visitors), and children. More on the Cupertino experience later, time to get back to getting smarter.
